If you are looking for a great place to eat, shop, and have fun try Irmo. Located off the shore of Lake Murray and only ten miles from Columbia, Irmo was a sleepy little town of 500 people in the early 1970's. Today with more than 12,000 residents Irmo is one of the country's most sought after places to live.

The shopping is great, with over 100 stores located along Harbison Boulevard. The eating is even better, with a wide variety of restaurants in the area.

If movies and shopping are not your thing, there is always Lake Murray, the states largest man made lake. The area also features the state's only Ice Skating Rink.
